Hahahaha people still talking about Papelbon.

The point has very little to do with Papelbon. I'm comparing Uehara to pitchers who have been excellent/historic. To put Uehara's season in the same conversation as Eck and Rivera's absolute best seasons is something that we should rejoice in, not hash up old arguments.

More rejoicing...Thornton got a RH hitter to ground into a FC.

Whoops...rejoicing promptly discontinued.

Wasn't directed to you Pal. Wasn't directed to nobody. Was a general comment.

Btw, do not take me wrong, I like what Koji has showed and is encouraging. But IMO we have to see a lot more from him before compare him with Pap or Mo.

The best part is now Morales and Morse are out of the game, and that's like half of Seattle's good part of the lineup.

I don't know what the stats say. But I feel like Morales has dominated against us this year.

He's been in the majors for 5 years....

Going into this game, in 23 games (96 AB's) Morales is .260/.298/.448/.746 with 4 HR's and a 21/5 K/BB ratio.

Yup, but as closer, he has very little experience.

We are getting pwned by a guy who's last name is Farquhar.

And to think he had an ERA of 6.00 entering the game.

On a side note there's a really good magician with the last name Farquhar.

I knew that inning would be a f***ing waste with Drew and Holt batting in the inning. It's gonna be up to Victorino, Pedey, and Ortiz.

We're still a reliever ahead of them (assuming they replace Farquhar to start the bottom half) and they now have Morales/Morse out of the game, so they really only have a couple of threats on offense. And, as you mention we have the heart of our order coming up.
