enough is enough. They gotta shut this team down tonight and show them that a 57 million dollar team shouldnt be a division winner.

How come it seems like nava is starting less games ?

Nava is playing less. He did tweak that wrist of his again this year and I guess there is the chance that the Sox have decided to see if rest will bring it around. When it is bothering him, it really does have an impact on his swing. Not saying that is definitely what is going on but it could be.

Doubront has more IP than Price this season.

Overall, sure, but I'm referring to per start. Doubront has averaged 5.85 innings, while Price has averaged 6.85.

Doubrant has gone more than 6 innings each of his last 5 starts.

OMG, another blind as bat home plate ump. I am sure he will end up hurting us at least as much as the Rays.

Does Naps even try any bunts during BP? I would not be surprised if the answer is NO.

I'm just concerned that he's at 52 pitches through 3, despite 2 GIDP.

Not normally, no. But against price, even though he had a hr against him last time he faced him, we need too get runs by manufacturing them.

I just noticed the Rays acquired Jesse Crain today. Greeeat, just great. The Sox better do something and get a SP or a reliever or two before the deadline comes..

Farrell commented that Price went Strike 1 pretty often in the last meeting suggesting that the Sox needed to be more aggressive against him. Whatever....the Sox had little success hitting as they did in that game. So doing something different tonight might make some sense. So far...not working.

When a guy like Price is pitching great, the hitters are pretty helpless.

Its just looking like his stuff is just too hard too get solid contact on, regardless of the approach the sox take.
