What? Don and Eck work very well together. I think they balance eachother too-- when Remy and Don are together they tend to be too dull and goofy sometimes.

And maybe this is blasphemy but Remy's accent is just annoying.

It's just a matter of taste. I like Eck but miss Remy, a lot. To each his/her own.

Nice BB Napoli. RUNS!

I agree with that actually, the baseball side of things is much better with Eck but I do like the goofiness of Don and Remy. It might be over the top sometimes but they have something pretty unique going on there IMHO.

It's infinitely better than some of the bland, cookie cutter commentators other teams have.

Once again. A matter of taste/preference. I love the Boston/New England accent.

I do as well but there's a line for me and Jerry crosses it.

Eck is a great change of pace cause he talks about baseball from the pitcher's perspective...something Remy just can't do. But I do think Eck would have a hard time if he had to roll it out there every night like Remy does. Would not mind having Eck there more as long as it did not mean Remy's health was deteriorating.

I think Pierzynski ranks up there with swisher and the Yankee roster at the top of the list of baseball players I want to punch in the face.

Edit: add Carl Crawford

Pedroia 32 BB 30 K. Come on man. He's having an outrageous season.

He's one of the few players that has more career walks than strikeouts. Chipper Jones, Todd Helton, Barry Bonds, and Albert Pujols are some others.
