If it looks like Demps is going to be up in the zone early I think he tends to overcorrect and he ends up looking really funky for awhile. The worst thing that would have happened to that first pitch (hit batsman) would have been if it had been over the plate. It would have hung and just sitting there to be hit.

I love Nava as a leadoff man against right-handed hitters. When a guy has that kind of a OBP split, you have to take that matchup. Hopefully he sees more starts at #2 when Ellsbury returns.

Same. I think Eck makes very sensible baseball points and I enjoy his analysis very much but he doesn't have the chemistry with Don Jerry has.

What? Don and Eck work very well together. I think they balance eachother too-- when Remy and Don are together they tend to be too dull and goofy sometimes.
