Ok peeps let's steer this one back towards the topic at hand. I think the obvious choice is to DFA Ciriaco(he has no options left for those who have been saying "send him down"). There's a decent chance he clears waivers but they are going to have to be prepared to lose him.

 

I think they have to play Iggy until his bubble bursts(as much as I'd like to believe he has morphed into an above average hitter, I'm not totally sold). What the means for Drew I'm not sure. Is it nonsense to think he could become the Utility guys playing 1-2 games a week at SS and 1-2 games against RHP at 3B? Pedey could use some rest but I don't see him sitting once a week for the whole season, so not sure how many AB's he get @ 2B. I just figure keeping it simple for the young better SS would best. Either way Iggy should be on the team and playing even after WMB comes back.

Don't let them bother you. Your English is very good. Dipre/UN has had the advantage of living in the U.S. for school. I helped him with his english on skype before he came to the U.S. For MVP to criticize you for your English is ridiculous. Invite him to the Spanish thread and challenge him to a debate there.

 

The other guy-- Dutchy et al has already been put on ignore and I will not engage him at all. He will eventually blow up, go nuts, send around gross pictures and get himself banned again (for about the 20 th time). I won't waste my time on him.

Nor should it. In a perfect world, we'd get JBJ as close to 300 AB as possible at AAA in order to prepare him for next year. He'll be back up in September at the latest.

I agree. I think some team would claim Ciriaco. He is versatile and he does some things very well. He's made too many sloppy errors this year, but he bunts very well, runs and steals bases very well. He has a strong arm, and he puts the ball in play usually making good contact.

 

I just don't know if they can get Iggy enough playing time at the MLB level to help his development.

My only issue is that if someone asks you to clarify a post, you just say "it's clear to me." Instead of furthering the dialogue on here, that attitude just stifles it. People aren't always out to attack you, sometimes they'd just like you to expand upon the opinions you've provided. If you choose not to, it's your prerogative. However, just don't be upset if someone calls you out for not backing up your opinion.

Sometimes I simply don't pay attention to those questions, since will drive us to nowhere.
