A little rain delay hockey would have been nice but Blackhawks already won 4-2. Beating Quick like a mule. Can't play Stanley Cup hockey without a hot goalie and Quick is not hot right now...injuries piling up also.

 

An original six final would be pretty cool.

Agreed....don't want to jinx them by assuming a win over Pitts but not sure how I feel about things if Chicago sweeps LA and is resting/waiting for the Bruins to get through a tough series. LA is sort of crumbling at present. Quick let in at least one soft one tonight...maybe more than one...didn't see them all.

On espndeportes are saying that rain likely wont stop.

 

Rain look like it will stop about midnight and a usual 30Minute before they can get the field ready. Just call this s*** and the Yankees prepared to face the Guardians ace tomorrow.

Yeah, in a perfect world that series goes the full seven games. If Pittsburgh doesn't shake off their rust soon though, it could be a quick couple of conference finals.

They better finish this game. I'm sweeping my fantasy team matchup thanks to that last RBI by Ortiz. If they call the game, it erases the home run.

 

The game is official isn't it? Why would they take Ortiz HR away?

Yes, the game is official and Buchholz will get the win. But the top of the 6th will be erased if they call this game.

Official box score. In the case of a rain delay, they go back to the last full inning completed. Teams can lose a game they were winning if they score the go-ahead run in the top of an inning before a rain delay and the game is called.

Did you guys hear espn whining about Papi's bat toss? Why do they fish for controversy? Do they think people are going to believe that David Ortiz was showing up the opposition. The man caught the ball well, and no doubt it felt good. He knew he could jog instantly, so he relaxed and tossed the bat. Emotion is permissible.
