Lots of SPers have trouble going to the stretch so early in a game but Diamond has been ridiculous here. The first few to Ells were not much better and he was full windup to Ells.

I should have added the caveat "in what i've seen of him". But just like i was wrong in suggesting that, you're wrong in suggesting that 2% LD rate is a big deal with a sample size that small. Let's agree on that and move on.

Sometimes SPer's just struggle with the 1st inning period. Something we grew to be very familiar with here. Diamond did not get a chance to throw enough from the windup to tell which is was this time around.
