I only like ESPN over Orsillo and Remy when Dave O'Brien is calling the game, but he does Monday Night Baseball. Castiglione and O'Brien are good too.

I really like O'Brien too. He's really sharp.

That is true VA. You really cannot tell when Castig is about to have to back down a little to finally call what turns out to be a fly ball. He really gets me on the fouls because sometimes he does not even tell you it is near the line until he finally calls "foul ball" and you go....what!

I know! And he's sitting in the booth right next to Orsillo & Remy. So he's seeing what they see. Don keeps that stuff in check better imo.

Not dissing Joe C because he's great. That's my only gripe.

I like most guys from ESPN because I am within shouting distance of their houses in Bristol.

I can't believe how nice ESPN is. When I worked there it was so clean and new, even the older parts of campus. Then you exit through the gates and you're in Bristol, which, no offense Thunder, is one of the shittier shithole cities in the shittiest shithole area of this state. Surpassed, sadly, only by my own area.

Having a campus like ESPN in the middle of Bristol is like building a restaurant in the middle of a landfill.

It's not Bridgeport or Meriden though.

I've interviewed for positions at ESPN before, it's a pretty nice place. I'm not sure how nice of a place it is to work, but it's prob the lone good thing about the area. (Isn't Lake Compounce nearby?)

The Red Sox leading the major leagues in starting pitchers whose names end in -ster.

Lmao is there a trophy for that.

2-0 already? How the hell is a shittastic bunch of irrelevant, useless to the point of they should've been aborted, pathetic losers beating us?

Well Webster looks nothing like his previous start.

I take that back, the command isn't as good, but it's still pretty good.

What a joke. Honestly. Disaster start!! So if we lose this we will be 1-5 in our last 6? This team is unreal streaky.

I must say though, last year when out pitching was awesome our offense sucked, and when we were hitting our pitching sucked. This yr it seems when something is off everything is off. Very frustrating to watch as of late.

IMO, biggest problem for young pitchers coming up to ML is that they are just not used to seeing every mistake pitch or near to every mistake pitch tagged and then some.

After not giving up more than 2HRs in AA, he gives up one in the first inning of his second major league start.

It's been 6 bad games. We were 12 games above .500 less than a week ago. Every single team is going to have stretches like this.
