Buchholz looking good. Then again, he's basically facing a AAA lineup....

Apart from Cano, Kevin Youkilis is the best player on the field for the Yankees, Ichiro notwithstanding.

We were behind the pen in right. When he hit it we were all waiting for the reaction down the left field line. Our freaking out was delayed until we noticed those guys go nuts.

I was at game 4 of the alcs in 2004 and I was in the 5th grade and I got sick so i left early and missed ortiz hit the homerun. The year before that I was at the oakland a's red sox game and left before trot nixon hit the hr in the playoffs. And then i went to another sox game vs oakland and left before vtek hit the game winning homerun. So I decided to stay during a whole playoff game vs the angels in 08 and since the red sox had never lost to the angels in a playoff game before I figured I could stay and see them win but no they lost.... smh and they went on to win the series the next game just my luck i bet if i left early they would have won

I'm cold because I'm standing outside right now. Few degrees colder in CT.

Every game I go to something crazy happens for example I was at the game when it was dice k's first game against the yankees where the sox were down 3 runs and they get 4 home runs in a row or the time where pokey reese (where are they now? lol) hit an inside the park home run and another home run to add to it verses kansas city and the game where it was mike lowells first game back and hit a home run on his first at bat so ive had a mixed bag

Well, if Nap and WMB are going to struggle, I'd rather see them struggle now while the other guys are putting up crooked numbers. We need them to get hot when the other guys aren't connecting for 2 out RBI's and we need that 3 run bomb.

As I said yesterday, I think we have to wait for Toronto to see what is what.

 

Talk to Yankee fans and they say things like "Jeter expected back in less than two weeks. Tex expected back beginning May." Media is reporting nothing like that. Tex may be gone for season and Jeter is maybe mid May I think Granderson must be mid season or something worse.

 

So I wonder if they will try something radical. So far it is has been try to play Yankee baseball hoping guys like Cano and Youk and Nix can play the rolls that Granderson and Tex and to some extent Jeter play and I just don't see it. I think they will lose buckets of games trying to play this way and may regardless of what they do. This looks embarrassing though and Girardi is not exactly a genius for ingenuity.

Well, Ross looked s***** at the beginning of last year so meh. I'm sure he'll get it going. Fenway is heaven for guys like him.

Tex's wrist(I think?) is pretty f***ed up from what I've read. I doubt he's back by May.
