Dodgers talk here.

I also included a poll.

What do you guys think of all the money they are spending this offseason? If you ask me, it has the makings of becoming and epic disaster.

Possibly a reincarnation of the 1992 Mets, the worst team money could buy......which was only second to the 2012 Boston Redsox.

From the distance seems like they could spend more if something else were available LOL.

IMO they have a very good team, but IMO the problem will be all the egos around that locker room. If they can manage that, IMO they shall be considered the front runner to win the NL.

They were already good, they just got way better. They will now be forced to pay Kershaw a lot of money when the time comes.

f***, I remember when paying Gil Meche 11M a year was just obscene, but now guys are getting 24M, and they don't even have to be an ace.

I don't particularly like what they're doing with their money.....and being a Sox fan, I suppose I can't really complain too much about money and such, but yeah.

With that said, they're definitely a good team. For the next 3-4 years, they'll be a great team. As we've seen though, a lot of 6-7 year contracts at high value have been screwing a lot of teams lately (Red Sox, Yankees) so we'll see what happens as all these guys get older. Money has made them a great team though.

I haven't seen any really legit Dodgers teams, so I ain't too upset with their spending. I could see myself getting sick of them in a few years though.

The Dodgers have spent a s*** ton of money and still aren't a great team. If it gels they could be good. But we have all been witness to what a bunch of high priced divas achieve.

Overall I think the team will resemble Yankee teams from like 2002-2008. Lots of money, playoffs, not being able to get over the hump.

If the Giants have reinforced anything in the league it's that defense and Pitching win out. You don't need an all star at everyone position, but you need a team where everyone is pulling in the same direction, good clubhouse and light on "me first" personalities.

The problem with the Dodgers is that they have spent a significant amount of money on players that aren't really all that good.

Hanley, Greinke, Crawford, Agon, Ethier, Beckett... not one of those guys are worth the contracts they picked up.

Kershaw is a beast. Kemp is an annual MVP candidate. Andre Ethier is a pink hat's wet dream. The stadium is beautiful. Most importantly, Vin Scully is the man.

They still won't win jack s*** going in this direction.

I feel like they will make the playoffs and compete for the world series, assuming they stay healthy. They have some much athleticism and talent. I feel like CC bounces back with a change of scenary and Ethier and Kemp have huge seasons. It also helps that the Dodgers have one of the best rotations inbaseball now.

Greinke getting checked out for an elbow issue.

Crazy s***, that could turn into a disaster.

Ya I read that too and cringed

I'm really starting to think any long term big money contract is not worth it, even for the better pitchers in a game. The contracts can turn to disasters so quick.

Seems the check up was routine for Grienke. But this is now in the back of all Dodgers minds for the whole season.

Rockies again, this time knocking around Beckett. I repeat, LOVE IT

I guess that odd year even year thing with Beckett wore off.

I feel sorry for Mattingly - he's done, it's only a matter of time once the owner has to come out and say his job is NOT in jeopardy. Would actually be better to do it now than let it drag on all season. Not that I think it's the right decision, but a scapegoat has to be found.
