Since when have we seen any suggestions for a Lavarnway position change? I'd definitely like to see him move to 1B, but the Red Sox FO know that he's worth significantly more at C, so they've refused so far. Lavarnway has hit significantly better in the minors, which is probably why is such a snowflake to posters here.

People complained Lavs was being "jerked around" last year when he started the season in Pawtucket.

Uh Oh----somebody get to User on the double for a suicide watch. MVP, look out for your pal.

If it gets you to stop whining like a teenage girl who didn't get the iPhone 5 she wanted for her birthday, I'll live.

"I won't tell you because you won't understand" is a typical A700 copout for being wrong in the first place.

That's not what I said. jeez, you can never get anything right.

Well Ted, it is just MVP being MVP---kind of like Manny without the ability. I kind of found it both funny and ridiculous, first because my mom and dad came from Bensonhurst, and know only a few *******s there fit the description of racial bastards. So I could give MVP a pass on that one. He did live in California for awhile but he he comes out with any nasty stuff about my state I will be all over him like smell on s***.

He's such a complete dumbass that he thought that I was suggesting that UN be taken to Brooklyn to be beat up "on the mean streets". How in the world did he make that leap? I was obviously referring to your Brooklyn roots and the ability of Brooklynites to dominate an argument involving personal insults. But his brain can't make those connections. How he made a leap to racism was really stupendously stupid. Who was going to be involved in a race based beat down... You? Me? Complete nonsense.

Wait, you weren't inferring that he'd get beaten up on the mean streets of Brooklyn? Seems like that was your point there...

Or were you just talking about how gentrified Williamsburg is and that he'd have a great time drinking chai lattes and wearing nerd glasses?

Or was it concerning the social tensions between Hasidic Jews and younger transplants in certain neighborhoods?

Maybe you should clarify what you meant with your"guess he's never been to Brooklyn" comment.

What part of his post was racist?

Micheal Morse has been traded to the Mariners in a 3team deal with the A's being part of it with the Nationals. I would rather seen Morse playing LF in Fenway next year and it looks like it didnt take a big haul to get him either i expected the price would of been higher. I think the red sox missed out on him he would made more sense than a Gomes/Kalish platoon but thats just my $ .02

What an empty life that you must have. You research every one of my utterances. You are the internet version of an annoying work colleague who I can always side track by bringing up some obscure topic with an unanswered question. Within milliseconds, he is googling and searching on his laptop or phone. It's a source of endless amusement form me. Keep up the good work.;)

This part injected the issue of racism:

Yes, there's nothing better than when a New Yorker complains about Boston being racist and all you have to say is Bensonhurst.

Good to know that you are a douche in real life too!

I am not inferring anything when I call you a jackass. Injecting racism into a sports forum is the act of a jack ass. You sir are a jackass. I am not inferring that.

You apparently are much too stupid to understand what I meant by my remark and you are not worth the time to explain it. I can tell you this. It had nothing to do with "getting beat up on the mean streets of Brooklyn."

I didn't say that his post was racist. I said that he injected racism into the discussion which he did as a lame blanket accusation against New Yorkers in the following post:

Yes, there's nothing better than when a New Yorker complains about Boston being racist and all you have to say is Bensonhurst.

I simply don't get the fascination with Morse. He hasn't been consistently healthy or productive at any point in his career, he's a butcher at every position he plays, and a suspected doper to boot.

Once again. There was absolutely notning racist in his original post. Your first response, quoted again below said he injected racism. Where was it? Help a sista' out....

I called him a jackass after the post that I quoted twice for you. That was his initial post in the exchange. What aren't you getting? Re-read the thread in sequence. I don't know what else to say. Again, I did not say that he was being a racist. He injected the issue of racism by making a blanket accusation of racism aim toward New Yorkers. Enough of that. Pretty sure you are just trolling me at this point.;)

Oh, ok. That clears up nothing. The more things change, the more they stay the same. It is always all about you, you being stalked or you being trolled. Anyone he doesn't agree with you or questions you is wrong or a troll.

mvp and UN are 2 of the better posters out here. You're pretty cool too when you aren't constantly defending SBF, who is and always will be one of the most annoying posters out here ever and kinda like that guy from work you mentioned earlier.

Regardless, hope all is well with you and yours. Keep us posted during your Spring Training trip. ST cannot get here soon enough for me. I hate the off season and Winter in general.

I might order a Napoli jersey.......;)

I honestly did my best to explain it to you 3 times. So, I figured that you just were messing with me. If you don't get what went on between me and MVP, no big deal. It was between he and I. If you like to read UN and MVP, fine. UN is the only poster that I have on ignore. MVP freely admits that the majority of his post are snark. I have no use for either of them except i do enjoy when MVP engages in pointless research of minutiae or irrelevancies in my posts.

I have started my countdown to my ST trip. It's less than 50 days away.:D

We can hope. Of course, Miggy was Miggy at age 20. Mauro's development is a few years delayed. With the signing of Napol as a RH first baseman/part time catcher, I would still like to see a left handed 1B/OF like Garrett Jones to round out the roster. Plus, if the Sox have any plans to use Napoli behind the plate, Salty has to go.

I'm really surprised to hear a few of the more sane posters actually believing that Gomez can be our first baseman of the future. To me that is absolutely nuts. He is a journeyman at best with little power, mediocre defense and a reputation of not being the sharpest tool in the shed. I hope Napoli gets signed and gets a couple of years of production for us. If Travis Shaw does well in Double AA he no doubt will be promoted to Pawucket in 2014 and could take over at first base for us unless we trade for an established power hitting firt sacker. I've been told by some that the front office thinks this kid Shaw might be the real thing. It would be nice if the they are right for a change.

It was so easy to understand what you were saying that I was taken completely back Ted when MVP came out of left field with that ridiculous statement of his. I guess you just have to consider the source and move on. He probably thinks I'm a racist too.

I think he was suggesting that I was exhorting you at 70 years of age to kidnap UN get on a plane to Brooklyn and engage in a racially motivated physical attack on another poster.:dunno::lol:
