Man I am so tired of seeing opponents celebrating at home plate...just sick to death of it.

I don't know what I hate more...opponents celebrating at home or BC talking about pitching.

"Well Ben, what are your thoughts regarding building up the Sox pitching assets?"

"Well Don its like this, blah.... blah.... blah.... blah.. blah.. blah.. blah."

"Well Ben, how do you intend making the needed changes?"

"Don as I see it, blah..blah......blah....blah..blah..blah."

"Thank you Ben for that enlightened and engrossing interview. If you don't mind I am going to stick my head in this meat grinder now."

I didn't even watch the game. But this is just sickening. I knew we hit rock bottom but my god.... How many times have we lost to the Jays in a row now? Sickening. I should be used to the Sox losing ways but they truely have shuttle season down for good now.

Bard is toast.

He used to be able to induce a lot of pop up with his fastball or groundballs when they try to pull it. Now he can't even throw it at the corners with diminish stuff. He's likely done.

We all need a vacation from this team.

So watch some other teams. I'm rooting for the Braves to win it all.

I know you can make the case that other teams now have much more to play for than the Sox but in truth the Sox have been out to lunch all season long. I think that it has been particularly hard on the younger players that probably just do not know what to think about what they have witnessed all season long.

Ortiz says he was embarrassed and insulted. Well if you are a young guy coming up, how much to you take that with a grain of salt. If true how can Ortiz be playing with any real joy or enthusiasm. I am not blaming Ortiz specifically because to some degree all of the so called team leaders have at one time or another made it difficult for this team to play cohesively, with any joy or even as a team.

There have been outbursts of what in hindsight must not have been anything more than false revery and enthusiasm as it would disappear and dissipate as quickly as it came on...like the night of the Ross walk off, overturned Gatorade, torn shirts and all. That was way overdone that night but just as quickly forgotten the next day when they got creamed again.

When I think about the intensity that teams bring to the table in the post season I shudder to think how badly the Sox would have done under those circumstances. They have so few players that could step up to that challenge...Pedey, Ortiz and that might have been it...maybe WMB would have been able to step up...Ross. Our pitching would have been blown to smithereens. Either our pitchers would have been dead as doorknobs or so overamped as to be ineffective anyway. Could you see Padilla pitching to Tex? or Aceves to anybody? Oh my God.

Laser Show mojo.

Pedroia goes deep twice tonight, bank on it.

Well, I tried. Pedroia went deep, but it was too little, too late. I know everyone wants to tank and get a high draft pick, but I just can't bring myself to rooting against the Sox.

Did anybody recognize the guy who pitched the 9th for the Jays?

Brandon Lyon pitched for the Sox in 2003. He was part of the infamous 'closer by committee' program that year, and had 9 saves.

Another L? Well, no surprise here.

I wonder wether we are going to win a game again this season.

I suggested watching an NL club.

Padres has some interesting players, Headley, Grandal, Kelly.

Braves. Reds.

They are all fun to watch.

It looks like last September will extend through this September. Some of the younger people around here think this is what it was like to be a Red Sox fan prior to the current ownership. That's just not true. This is the worst baseball that I have seen in my 45 years of rooting for them. There are some guys here that remember 1966 and prior, but that is a really long time ago.

You would hope players would be playing for spots on the 2013 roster. If they are still playing hard then this team is worst then I thought. Maybe a last place finish will embarras the FO to rebuild this thing the right way.

They are worse than any of us would have thought. At this time, they are arguably the worst team in the league.

I'm 5 minutes south of Mass and I'm about ready to start building an ark. I would imagine that God has seen enough of our heroes for awhile and will piss this game out.

Sunday doubleheader anyone?

If they do get this in I want to see DiceK reach back to 2007 and just throw nothing but his world famous "gyroball" or one of the other 20 or so magical pitches Theo told us about. Truth is he will probably just make the Jays look like they are competing in a walk-a-thon but just think, another start or two from this klown and the DiceK era will be over!

Hey Theo, guess what you're getting for Christmas? Can you say "Japan's national treasure"? :D

Brennan if you are building an ark just make sure not to take any Red Sox along. We don't need this bunch breeding.

If I had known there would not be one I would have started one, certainly not for mojo but just to have one specific to this game.

In truth these games are all starting to run together now.....all sort of the same game.

I question whether this team could win any league

Don't know if anybody has noticed but the O's have come back on the Spanks and the game is tied at 2-2 in the bottom of the 3rd.
