The Red Sox are facing Samuel Deduno (3.13 ERA, 1.56 WHIP) for the first time. The Sox are hitting pitchers with a statistical profile similar to Deduno's (power/groundball pitcher, per BB-ref) to the tune of a .750 OPS. Given Deduno's should-play-for-the-Twins type BB/9 over 6 (oh wait, he does), we should expect some fireworks.

Lester has been atrocious at home.

Not only has Lester been less than desirable but the Sox have yet to step up against these chump teams. They have no killer instinct at all. At the times when we should have and needed to hear the roar of the lion we have been treated to the meow....meow of the pussy cat.

I think he will be okay. I picked him up in a sell-low trade for one of my fantasy leagues. The guy who had him is known as a mush. He drafts good players who turn to s*** every year, so I was very concerned when he drafted AGon and Lester in the first 2 rounds... And rightly so.
