The good thing, is that Bard looked awesome against the offensive powerhouse Oakland A's, they couldnt touch him, really racked up the K's and had a ton of swings and misses.....

AGon will hit and he'll hit plenty. However, with two virtual rookies in the starting rotation, we are not going anywhere. I was hopeful for a period, but reality is setting in. These guys might learn to pitch, but there will be plenty of growing pains on their way to becoming real starters. They are a long way from being good starters. These are the freakin A's. They suck bad.

 

When the Yanks tried inserting two rookies into their rotation in 2008, it was the only year they didn't make the playoffs since 1993.
