Also, that's what it normally takes to start from the bottom. You cant rebuild in one year. You should know this guru.

Yes they are actually. Do you think Papelbon fixes the problem? The problem is the entire bullpen. Two arms don't fix the problem. I know you have a borderline psychotic need to pat your back, but as much as you hate to hear it, it is still April.

 

If they don't fix the BP by June, then you can keep enjoying the team's demise to prove that you were "right". Some kind of fan......

We don't just need bullpen relief. This team isn't goiing to go anywhere without a serious injection of leadership.

 

If there's one mistake this team has made recently, it's counting on Josh Beckett to do for this rotation what Curt Schilling once did for it. He's not that kind of player. And on the other side of the ball I think we all seriously underrated Manny and what he could mean to the team. It really hasn't been the same without him, and it's been a turn for the worse in many ways.

How do you figure they need to start from "the bottom" when they have one of the best offenses in baseball?? Starting pitching has had some troubles, but also 6-7 quality starts so far??? The team needs a bullpen, that doesn't requisite a complete rebuild you f***ing troll

He had not thrown even 100 pitches and was doing fine at least from appearances. Might have discussed it with V in the middle of the inning and might have pulled him because of what was discussed. However the pen is known to be weak already and Felix was doing fine.

 

What is really interesting is that Felix would have had to come out at some point and it looks like whenever that was, their goose was cooked regardless

 

This bull pen is so bad it defies belief. To think that some thought the pen was pretty decent prior to the season starting. What were they drinking.
