Personal favorite of mine during games like these. I think I'm going to take an entire fifth of whiskey, fill it with cyanide and bleach, funnel it through a beer bong, and drink it all in one gulp.

I never once pitched as bad as Melancon, and if I ever did then I would have made it to the majors.

I like Melancon as a person its just he's a quiet person. If a bunch of whores were murdered in Boston I'd assume it was him. I said when you traded for him he'd s*** the bed and he has, he just can't handle the big lights. He came up with all these good numbers in the minors, got to New York saw the big lights and kind of shied away. then blamed Girardi for not pitching him more as he went out the door to the Astros.

In what now feels like a few century's ago but that was only pregame....the NESN guys were talkin' about our 30+ runs in four games against the rays. At this point the Rangers are workin on 54 runs in 3 games....sorta puts it all in perspective....ya' know what I mean?

Melancon is a kid with good enough stuff who shrinks in the spot light. I watched all 3 homers off of him. He looked like a deer in headlights even with a 6 run deficit. He needs to stay in a place like Houston. You do know the Astros are happier than a pig in slop that they actually got something useful for him, right?
