Any ideas of what improved it?

After thumbing around in a few posts, I think it's because more people have been posting since spring training began, members old and new.

If I remember right, he got temp banned.......was pissed off about it, created another username and said goodbye.

He came back for a couple of posts, but disappeared again.

He was a funny guy. TS was great back then. For what its worth though, TS seems to have gotten much better over the last month or so.

TheKilo was definitely not temped banned and didn't make a second account. Last time I saw hime around was when his GB packers won. After that, he pretty much went ghost. Made a rare appearance a few months later and said he was interested in an MLB redraft. Oh well, they come and go.

So the Yankees DL a guy' date=' and that's a fabrication, he's really healthy and this is roster shenanigans. Same day, mind you, the Sox send a guy to a specialist, and they are obviously covering up a more serious injury. Shocking. Love that consistency.[/quote']

MRI clean on Pineda. Bailey recommended for surgery. But yeah, they're both the same.

Didn't say the situations were the same. The difference lies in how you assume the FO's are acting, which is, of course, really an assumption about potential severity. You assumed best case, no injury at all, for the Yankees, and worst case for the Sox. Try and defend it all you want, but it's clear as day and on the record for posterity.

Again, shocking.

Who made that chart? Like when was it first used? Whoever did' date=' props. That was pure greatness right there. Incredibly accurate as well.[/quote']

I made the chart.

I'm just getting around to it right now at the end of spring training, but why didn't Alex Wilson pitch more often during Spring Training? He supposedly had the ability to be a solid 'pen option but he threw only one inning. Injury?

Morales might be a sleeper closer option. He's got great stuff and has closed before. Bobby V had him close today.

and Justin Thomas has been a surprise in spring training

The Yankees can do no wrong in the media. It's NY.

I've said it before, The Chart needs to be stickied and given a prominent place at the top of the forum, along with a select few other HOF pieces.

I know you posted it recently. Where'd you find it? I don't even know where to go to get it right now.

Tell me how the crow tastes. 3-4 months' date=' I said 12 weeks. It's like I do this for a living or something...[/quote']

What crow? The discrepancy I noted had to do with how you read the tea leaves for front office motives. It never had anything to do with the outcome. Try and shove that square peg into the round hole all you want, it doesn't change the comical double standard I found in what you posted.

Baily is forever walking Mr. Brittle Bones. He isn't the long term solution to close. I wouldn't be shock to see him non tendered or traded next offseason. This ship has sail and the Sox will now have to find a long term closer who can be dependable. It could still be Bard.

Unless Bard totally craps the bed, he's in the rotation. It would be odd to see them go back on that unless they're left with no choice.

Two entirely different situations hence two separate thought processes. Pineda was in a rotation that had 6 big league starters and one working his way back. He did nothing all offseason and shows up fat, out of shape, and with diminished stuff. They couldn't justify demoting him due to his yr 1 performance. He says he had some normal shoulder soreness after his workout, NY gets an MRI which is clean and calls it tendinitis. They needed a reason to put him on the shelf so he can get into game shape, and they quite possibly made one up.

Bailey is a counted upon closer with limited contingencies. If they had a reason to think he'd only need a few weeks, they'd have revealed that early on. They held off on telling the world he'd miss 4 months until they had all opinions in.

Not sure what you're patting yourself on the back here for. One situation the team is mad at the player and has contingencies, the other is a player who is heavily counted on who just has s*** luck

I can't find it now!

I know somebody has the original Jacko Red Sox versus Yankees analysis chart bookmarked. Please help bring this extraordinary piece of Talksox history and pure comedy gold to the forefront.

And it dies with the "chart" being brought up. That's okay' date=' continue to think you're winning! /sheen[/quote']

MJ, I will find it and it will finally be given it's rightful place stickied upon the top of the forum.:D

Prospect|Yankees|The player in question is made of 150% pure awesomeness. Fear us.

Prospect|Sox|He could be good, but this is why he won't be.

Signing|Yankees|This is the missing piece. We'll win 160 games, and the umps will screw us out of 2.

Signing|Sox|Risky move, overpaid here, they'll regret this.

Injury|Yankees|They don't get hurt. Hypothetically, if they did, the recovery will be speedy with no impact to ability.

Injury|Sox|Everyone is a ticking time bomb. Once hurt, they'll never heal right.[/table]

Not my work though. ORS created it. I simply remembered RSFFL posting it in the "Thread which shall remain nameless" and copied it from there.
