CJ keeps lookin' down like he is continually surprised by his footfall. It's almost like he is away from home on an unfamiliar mound.

Looked awkward on that ball 4 also.

I agree.

Wilson's in a tough spot here. Come on man!

See the look on Beltri's face starin' over. SS definitely missed that sign.

Announcers talkin' about CJ being on a short leash which I can understand. If he gets out of this inning he might finally calm down. If he does not get an out here I think we will see Wash.

Well I gotta' give CJ some credit here. While he has been battling his own demons the whole night that does not mean the battle is not real. He has hung tough while there has not been much going his way and he has not really had an easy inning all night. However he has been calling on his reserves of fortitude since the first inning and there is just so much of that you can do before the floodgates open up.

I don't wonder if his post season performance is going to have an impact on his free agency. Everybody has been lauding him as the pitcher at the top of the heap for this FA season and talking about him getting huge money. I really like him but I think all the hubbub may have more to do with who is not a FA this year.

Although the goofy announcers are suggesting he might move back into the bullpen for somebody. I can't imagine somebody paying FA money to bring him in intending to send him out to the pen. God I never know which one of these two announcers I am going to end up more frustrated with after 4-5 games. Just not my favorite team.

Ya' gotta' wonder what a healthy pair of legs would have meant to Holiday and the Rangers in this series. That last at bat was all arms....no legs at all in that swing.

So I guess I'm not as crazy as I used to be, for arguing extensively that the Sox needed to bring in Mike Napoli.

One can only hope that Lavarnway evolves into a similar hitter.

Wow, Larussa out-managed by Wash AGAIN. I might have to check to see if there are pink elephants jumping over a blue moon tonight.

Great game though...great baseball entertainment. Probably would have been going completely nuts if one of these teams was my home team.

LaRussa outmanaged himself. All Washington had to do was field a decent team and let a man with far less control over the game than he think he has, put himself at a disadvantage by overmanaging.

If the Rangers win this, it will be because LaRussa decided to try to impact the game himself, instead of letting his players do it.

I never thought you were crazy about this, and you turned out to be right.

As for Lavarnway, I don't think he could be much worse than Salty behind the plate.

I think Lavs needs a good long chance next year if it can be arranged. No Tek. Let Lavs and Salty split catching duties. Lavs has the looks of one of those looks-ugly-doing-it-but-gets-the-job-done kind of players that makes people crazy sometimes, but he could easily become a Jorge Posada type player for us (minus the switch hitting obviously) and that would be a hige and welcome thing for us.

Not agreeing with it but apparently it is a marketing thing. Since Tex can win the game and therefore the series the don't want to take the chance of having the ceremony at 2:00 in the morning.

They are going to look pretty stupid if the game could have been played and the additional day off creates some pitching changes that normally would not have been available.

Am i the only one who thinks the cardinals have been the better team in this series yet are down 3-2?They where awful with runners in scoring position in game 4.The rangers came back in game 2.I just think the cardinals have shot themselves in the foot in this series.

Larussa was awful in that game 4 in terms of managing!!

I think the Cards have played better in spots but the Rangers have been the more consistent team.

Here we go for game 6. While I have been rooting for the Rangers (gotta root for somebody) I want to see this go 7. So tonight it is go Cards.
