This isn't good. We aren't going to make the playoffs if we continue playing like crap. The Rays, with a win today, will only be 3 1/2 games out from the wildcard. I don't know if I can stand Tampa acting like they watch baseball again. I liked them when they were losing and forgot about the sport.

Remy with the great point-- that we will keep running out hacks and bums to the mound to start games for the foreseeable future. Wakefield, Lackey and Miller start the next three games. By next Friday, Tampa will essentially be in a flat foot tie with us if they take care of business against Baltimore. Please post the panic button. At the end of this game, it gets pushed.

+1 We can't afford to have Wakefield keep trying to get to 200. It's not a lock yet for the playoffs. We can't have him on the mound.

There is no one else. Theo got us an injured bum at the trading deadline. Thanks Theo.

I'm sooo glad that Theo sacrificed the present to preserve the future. Next year he can do the same thing and the year after that. Who are these big stars that we have coming to Fenway from the farm system in the next year or two? Please, what ********!

look in the Sunday papers.

AL:

Red Sox 1st in hitting, 12-15th in pitching.

Yankees, top 5 in pitching, top 5 in hitting.

NL:

Phillies: 1st in pitching, top half in hitting.

Conclusion: It's about pitching. No team can score 10 runs every game.

big collapse ... theo should be fire by next year ... he got us lackey' date=' lugo , cameron , jd drew , gagne ,dice k.[/quote']

Henry would buy the Brooklyn Bridge before he would fire Theo--or Tito--or anybody else above the level of typist.

Henry doesn't own a business--he owns ***king hedge funds.

Perhaps if this team can learn to speed up their games they wouldn't be so exhausted down the stretch. These regular 3.5 and 4 hour games surely have to take their toll. I'm just a spectator and they tire me out, I can't imagine what it does to the players.
