The way the Red Sox handle their starting pitching--with kid gloves--really sucks, in my view.

Not enough pitches. not enough innings. I doubt any of these starters can throw 120 pitches.

Then they overuse the bullpen and wonder why they need 12-13 pitchers, and have to turn over relievers every year. Wake up, front office. Sorry Wake. LOL

 

They got Bedard, but they could have had Harden, too. Both better in the stretch than Wake and Lackey.

They keep throwing Morales in every game for an inning--they'll blow him out, too.

On a positive note, CC looks like he'll be himself by the end of the season. His stats will even out.

Seriously. This is one of the most gratifying wins we've had this year IMO. Well, the past 2 nights have. Not only does it feel like a little retaliation, but it builds all kinds of confidence for a potential ALDS matchup.
