I will agree, save for Lester, this teams SP has not gone deep into games very often. What I'm hoping is that it gives them a bit of an advantage in the post season.

The way the Red Sox handle their starting pitching--with kid gloves--really sucks, in my view.

Not enough pitches. not enough innings. I doubt any of these starters can throw 120 pitches.

Then they overuse the bullpen and wonder why they need 12-13 pitchers, and have to turn over relievers every year. Wake up, front office. Sorry Wake. LOL

 

They got Bedard, but they could have had Harden, too. Both better in the stretch than Wake and Lackey.
