Yo I think the feed I'm watching is a little fast haha. The gamecast on ESPN shows the previous batter I just saw on my stream as the one who's at the plate (for example, you guys are talking about Pedroia but I'm watching commercials after his at-bat). Oh boy am I going to spoil this game for you guys >:)

Crawford is on the cusp of nothing, not in my opinion, not when I watch him. He still looks like s***. He looked better earlier in the year when he was at least hitting the ball hard with some bad luck.

You can still have them hit back to back by hitting the weaker hitter 9th. The only difference is at the start of the game, but that, to me, is a chance to get in the head of the other team by putting up runs in your first turn at the plate. By putting a weak hitter up there, you give the pitcher an easy out to get around early trouble.

I don't care if Crawford is making $20M to hit 9th. If he's hitting like a #9 hitter, then hit him #9..

ORS wrote this on 4/29. I'm just sayin. I had a massive argument with him because I thought Crawford was right on the cusp of breaking out.

Sometimes I like to toot my own horn. :dunno:

I am surprised that Tito is going to the pen. Lester was in total control and his pitch count was only 93.

Really? Love Francona but his pitching management isn't all that bright. We've seen plenty of dumb moves alone this season.

My problem is that there is ZERO evidence that putting players on pitch counts actually does anything helpful. If they are feeling good and dominating, you let them pitch. If they are tiring, then pull them. It's not spring training, we shouldn't be worrying about "lasting the season". Win this game, then worry about tomorrow.

Come on Pedroia a nice little base hit here could make this game. I feel pretty confident with a 3 run lead.

and with 2 outs more .....

Thank goodness the move didn't hurt us.

Last night was really frustrating too. I can't complain as our bats were on fire but it seems that the fans are always on a different page than him.
