Yea been in first almost the whole year and now we have a bad team

you always had a bad team , they were out performing for the first month and a half and now there performing as they should be

The Guardians have had a bad team for a while, it was a matter of time before they were no longer in first. The fact that they were in first for that long shows how crappy their division is.

You're all just encouraging him. He knows the Guardians suck' date=' he's just trying to be an annoying Cleveland-obsessive troll, and he's succeeding. Just ignore him.[/quote']

I don't think he's trolling, I think he actually believes the things he says, and that scares me.

That said, we should all ignore him regardless of whether or not he's trolling, because it's still annoying.

Wait and see.

Wait and f***ing see.

What I'm seeing now is the Guardians imploding. They've been awful for a while now and it will be very entertaining to watch their continued fall from grace during the course of the season. If it's of any consolation, you did win 3 games in the '07 ALCS.

The year he is having is the reason why W-L is useless for a pitcher (though I think we all know that anyway). He's 3-7 with a 3.12 ERA and 1.14 WHIP.

Maholm has been getting terrible run support basically his whole career so this year isn't any different. I'm enjoying his season (and the Pirates, my 2nd favorite team) so far this year.

For the record' date=' I think that ESPN showed a graphic that Maholm had one of the lowest BABIPs and that if his peripherals didn't get better, that Maholm was in for a big regression for the remainder of the season. I like Maholm too, not for the same reasons that MSU does obviously, but he seems like a class act, and I like lefty's, and I also feel bad that he's spent his entire career with the Pirates thus far. I was a bigger fan of Tom Gorzelanny though.[/quote']

One of my good friends at State has golfed with Paul and his younger brother a bunch of times. He said he's a freaking nice guy. It wasn't since I've known him, but if he ever goes with him again I'm going to try and go. That'd be cool. Same with a friend of mine who went over and cooked out with Papelbon at his house a few years back. Wish I could've been around to join them.

Hey the tribe are back in 1st!

Detroit is down 9-1 in the 4th inning!

The tribe were out of first place for so long, I couldn't keep count of how many days it was.

I know the Guardians will contend to the end of the year.

They won't make the playoffs, the Tigers will win the division and the Yankees or Red Sox shall win the Wild Card.

The Mariners are one of my favorite non-Red Sox teams to watch. Dustin Ackley just made his debut and got a hit in his first AB. Along with Felix, Pineda, Smoak, Halman, etc, they have some awesome young talent. Not to mention Ichiro is always fun to watch.

Anyway, if they hold on against the Phils tonight they'll only be 1/2 game behind the Rangers.

I enjoy watching the M's too. I catch a lot of their games late at night. If they can fill out the rest of that rotation and be solid 3-5, they're going to be really good for a long time considering Felix and Pineda are a dynamite 1-2 and are both very young.
