It's always nice to come home to the Yankees losing. This is the only pitching matchup in this series that favors the Yankees, if they don't rally they could be looking at a sweep.

I love how when the Rays hit a home run to right, the Yankees announcers talk about how well the ball's carrying out there lately but when the Yankees hit them they don't say anything.

Fat f***er isn't too hot tonight' date=' maybe all that weight starting to catch up to him.[/quote']

He was having the best stretch of his career, it was only a matter of time before he fell back to earth.

CC looked dominant tonight. Good fastball and his location was spot on except for when he gave up the 5 home runs.[/Jacko]

Then he'll talk about how he struggled because his stuff was "too good" tonight.

I was listening to the Yankees radio broadcast while I was working. Sterling and Waldman are awful.

Every time Sabathia gave up a HR they kept saying it was 'strange'

"It's a strange night"

"This is very unusual, Sabathia has a strange line tonight"

et cetera. Not once did they say anything like "Sabathia did not pitch well tonight"

The best part was, Sterling said over and over that "Sabathia was due for a bad start". Why? Did his last start not qualify as bad?

Well' date=' CC gave us innings, but he got abused when they made contact. One of those nights[/quote']

Good stuff.

Or, it could be that he was bored with the level of competition.

Red Sox are up 2 games in the division with 2 favorable pitching matchups against one of the worst teams in the AL. The Yankees are down 2 games with 2 unfavorable pitching matchups against one of the best teams in the AL.

Time to widen the gap.

Damn! Who would say that TB still one of the best teams of the AL after all the people that has gone at this point... And their rotation is a pretty good one. If they were in another division they definitely would be contenders.

Oh theres no doubt about it that Tampa is still a good team, they are a bit streaky as of late but nobody can look past the them thats for sure. What would be epicly hilarious is if they continue this streak and grab that wild card instead of the Yanks haha.

11 baserunners in 5.2IP vs the Royals sucks. His recent track record doesnt help. The guy needs to go directly to the NL next season. His stuff is still superb, but his mental makeup is in the midget category
