I have the same trouble. I couldn't even find % of runners caught stealing for catchers lol.

All I could find is through the mlb website and you have to calculate out the % yourself. They give you SB's against a catcher and CS as well. With that you can calculate it out yourself. Russell Martin last year had 43 SB's against him last year and threw out 27 runners.

27 / 43+27 = 38.57%

V-Mart was 21.43% last year

Is this right?

Yes that appears right. I knew it was right around 40%.Just not the exact number. That's actually a really good percentage. Probably nothing a Sox Catcher has sniffed since Pena LOL

I was hoping for a hassle-free solution' date=' but its hard to disagree with 38%.[/quote']

Yes it is :D I don't see any negative to bring in Martin. NYY are reported as offering one year. I would throw in an extra year if I was the Sox.

I checked Varitek and he was at 20%. Salty only had 6 games in the bigs last year so his percentage is inaccurate, but he threw out 1 runner in 7 attempts.

(On when he knew the Red Sox were serious about signing him): “Well, the day Theo came to Houston (Nov. 30) was the day they were on my radar. I had interest in the Angels, but at the end of the day, I felt that my situation would definitely be better here in Boston. Angels are a pretty nice organization, too, but at the end of the day, I think that my heart is in Boston. I have a 6-year-old son. I said I think he was a closet Boston fan because when I told him I was coming to Boston, he was more excited than me. And that’s when I knew I had made the right decision. It was just one of those things. The feeling feels so good that you couldn’t pass that up.”

Lee staying in Texas !!!!!! Woohoo

Incarcerated Bob? He's wrong about 50% of the time. He's still waiting for Lebron to sign with the Knicks.
