Dustin Moseley has been a breath of fresh air for this rotation. Really reminds me of Aaron Small from 2005. 88-90mph, nothing straight and he's locating better than he ever has in his career.

what are you talking about? he sucks. he came into this game he had a 4.50 era and a 1.46 whip as a starter and he's given up 4 runs in less than 5 innings against one of the worst offenses in the al

Almost all of that WHIP and ERA is from his last start. Prior to the homer from Kelly' date=' he'd been pitching pretty well.[/quote']

he'd been pitching pretty well... against one of the worst offenses in the al. this is the third time in his last four starts that he's given up at least 4 earned runs

He hung one slider that inning which he paid for. Otherwise' date=' his velocity was down, but his location was very good[/quote']

mosley is good other than his last start, gardner is doing well for a guy who's slumping and joba looked good other than the extra base hit and the velocity

i'm starting to see a pattern

Yeah' date=' the pattern is that we'll just continue winning and you can continue sitting many games back[/quote']

just keep winning? aren't the yankees .500 on the month?

This Yankee bullpen has been dominant of late. Good timing' date=' especially with Kerry Wood looking as good as he has.[/quote']

wood's been pretty lucky. he has a 1.45 whip and a 1.08 era since the trade

We didn't need Wood. We have Wakefield in our pen. He is very versatile. He has been sucking in every role this season.

i wonder if they'll decline his option next year. it could be the end of an era
