It's not a good outing, but I give Javy credit for only giving up these two runs through four innings. He's dealing with this dead arm issue, and he doesn't have much tonight.

I'm pretty confident at this point that A-Rod isn't going to get going this year. He had a great night on Saturday, but now he's back to having bad ABs. There have been a few times this year when you thought something might jump start A-Rod, and it just didn't.

It will be interesting to see what kind of contract Jeter gets because he's been having an awfull season

I'm expecting the worst case scenario. 3/60 or 4/80. Really hope I'm wrong.

worst case scenario ? you really think they'll give him that much per year ?

If he demands it, sure. Because of the PR reaction, they can't afford to lose him.

A Yankee pitcher finally holds a guy on, and the catcher makes a terrible throw. I never thought I'd miss Jose Molina...

EDIT: But a nice play from Cervelli there.

Oh, my bad then haha

Yeah, I thought the Rays would let up, a month ago when they were struggling I thought the Sox would move into 2nd in the AL East, but the Rays have stopped struggling and this will be a close race for the division lead

It would suck for the Yankees to lose because facing the Rangers in the ALDS could be detrimental, the Rangers have a deadly lineup and Cliff Lee and CJ Wilson is a scary 1-2

Yeah, your good haha. Why would I make fun of a team that is 5 1/2 games ahead of us? I mean I hate the Yankees but It wouldn't be smart to make fun you guys when we're in a worst situation. That wouldn't make me look good at all. No worries though looks like it will be the Yankees and the Rays.

I find it baffling that we score a total of 1 run over 2 games where we face Scherzer and Bullington. The pitching has its issues, but if our offense doesnt start kicking it back into gear, we're gonna fall behind Tampa

With the state of the Yankees rotation (and their lack of offense right now), there's a decent amount of pressure to win every time CC takes the ball. As luck would have it, he's matched up against Verlander.
