LOL @ Grienke being higher the Cole Hamels, who might have the best change up in baseball.

Carpenter was good, but we haven't seen what he can do in awhile.

He said in no particular order.

I guess you missed when I said.."In no particular order"..I even made a joke about it...sheez.

Anyhow, Grienke has 3 plus pitches. 95-97 Fastball(much harder than Hamels 91-92). Greinke also has a nasty 12-to-6 curve..better than Coles. Greinke also has a very nice changeup...nowhere near as god as Cole's.

How you would LOL, as you so eloquently put it, is beyond me. Grienke has a wider array of piches...and overall, I would say "stuff-wise", he is right there with Hamels-- although Hamels is the better pitcher at this juncture.

JimEd, you sir, are a moron. Stuff is different from control. Stuff is velocity and movement. Control is how well you locate your stuff. Saying that you consider stuff to be stuff + control should make you think that maybe you are missing out on the whole point. But that sounds like we'd be reinventing the wheel. Yep, Jim Ed, missing a point. Never thought I'd see that one comin. Just sayin.

That happens sometimes when you can't back off an argument in time and wind up trying to save it by playing word games. Been there. Many times.

Then how about an actual defense if the concept of AJ Burnett's quality that doesn't nominate Cabrera for the hall of fame?

Because Cabrera sucks.

A.J. Burnett actually has the ability to throw his pitches over the plate. Cabrera might settle for four feet out of the strike zone.

I think that getting Mark Texiera would have instantly made our lineup historically good' date=' and I share the frusteration at the FO for losing by 10 million dollars, it sucks. Anyone who doesnt think that sucks is oblivious as hell. [/quote']

He

did

not

want

to

play

in

Boston.

So what's to be 'frusterated' about...it is what it is, the Sox now have to move on.

My post was solely about stuff. In terms of his control, AJ's is world's better.
