It really is impossible to pinpoint one player. Every game there have been 4 or 5 different players who've stepped up. But if we have to choose one, at this point I'd say Lowell.

Lowell stats to this point:

 

6-14, 6 R, 4 RBI, 3-2B, 1 HR, 1 SB

 

Ellsbury stats:

 

6-15, 4 R, 3 RBI, 3-2B, 1 SB

 

Pretty similar, but I'd have to give Lowell the nod. Lowell has played outstanding defense, Ellsbury has been the spark the Sox needed since he's replaced Crisp.

I believe Mike Lowell leads the team with a .429 BA in the WS

 

He also had that great stolen base at 3rd last night

 

Not to mention Lowell scored the tieing run in the 2nd game and drove in the winning run

 

All due respect to Ellsbury, Beckett, Pedroia, and the rest of the team....I think the award has to go to Mike Lowell
