That's true, and on top of that, they are completely different pitchers.

one bad start for wang and one great start for Dice k and their stats would be pretty much even , so the gap is not that wide

I do. I do love reminding Sox fans that Dice-K is an average pitcher, and nowhere near the pitcher most expected.
