Upton has already made 12 errors at 2B' date=' so the D-Rays are trying him in the OF to see if he's a better fit there.[/quote']

Even with the errors, his range is pretty solid, certaintly not great, but his offensive value at 2B is so great, that I think they can tolerate his below-average D.

I seriously doubt that is why. If Baldelli could stay on the field or if Dukes could stop the Shawn Kemp impersonation, then he would be at 2B and Wigginton would ride pine, like he should.

I think I heard they were trying him out in the OF on Baseball Tonight, not positive though. You're right about him probably playing 2B if you could count on Baldelli or Dukes, but the truth is you can't, so he may stay there. Something to keep an eye on though.

I'm honestly shocked the Devil rAAAys won a game in this series.

Maybe Toronto won't bend over for the Yanks....nahh too much to ask.

You're not going to get Troy Glaus out if you refuse to try and throw the ball under his hands to at least set up the outside pitch. Glaus is not one of those guys who tries to pull everything. There are times when it becomes extremely annoying when some Yankee pitchers try to throw everything on the outside corner.

EDIT: However, in my opinion the first mistake was to start Igawa today (and not because he shouldn't be starting at all, although that's up for debate). Toronto kills left-handed pitching, and Igawa, who's not very good against anyone, is not helped by that fact. I would have started Igawa yesterday, and Mussina today.

With the ASB the Yankees had a chance to rearrange there rotation, yet they set it up where the Blue Jays get to face both of the Yankees lefties. That, to me, makes no sense.

well the yankee bulpen will see alot of action tonight ' date=' he's allready up to 90 pitches in just the 4 inning[/quote']

if I had my way, the yankee pen would be in the game. We have Pettitte and Wang going the next 2 nights, the pen will get plenty of rest.

What has Pettitte shown you in the last three starts, especially considering he's facing a team that kills lefties, that he will go deep in the game tomorrow?

Pettitte has these streaks all the time. It wont last into tomorrow.

Wells nearly hits a 3 run bomb.

How about Steven White?

Well, I've heard the name, but I'm actually not too famaliar with him. I'm not really sure where to look, so do you have some kind of scouting report and/or statistics from this year?

Don't forget how well the Blue Jays hit lefties. All I'm saying is that the way he's been pitching, coupled with the fact that the Jays kill lefties, does not give me all that much confidence for tomorrow.
