they will. I have a feeling tonight will be settled by the bullpens and hence we might be in trouble. Then again, their pen sucks too.

I think the Jays win tonight. The heart of their order has a strong RHP/LHP split (7 regulars OPS over .900, none do vs. RHP), and Pettitte has been pretty shaky of late. I think he only has 2 QS in his last 8 starts. The only question is which Halladay shows up. If it's the good one, this should be over early. If it's the one we've seen a few times the last couple of months, this should be a barn burner.

I would have put anybody else in there before Farnsworth, I know Torre is stupid for this. However, the guy has retired the side in order once in 16 appearances. He is ass f***ing terrible, and it isn't for a lack of stuff. He throws it 98. Instead of taking something off the fastball and locating, he tries to throw it 102. He then misses his spot horribly, and gets hit hard, or walks guys.

 

He needs to be DFA'd, traded, whatever. He should not be pitching for the Yankees, especially in the 8th inning of a tie game.

no, Proctor was used for 2 inexcuseable innings last night. We should have used Vizcaino instead of Farns. Farns is terrible.
