I could care less by the way where Lebron James goes next year as long as it isn't Boston. I do realize how talented he is also but if I wasn't concerned about the negative feedback I would get here I would call him a big bag of s*** but I won't. I don't want you youngsters going nuts on me. lol

The thing about getting Lebron is that he'd become your next GM at the same time. (You already have a good one.)

He's already proven he's not a good GM.

I like his politics and of course what a Thoroughbred athlete that he is but I am nonplussed by the rest.

If you have a chance to get Lebron on your team, you take him, he instantly makes any team (especially the Celtics who already have a good roster) a championship contender. I can't see anyway he ends up in Boston though, since him and Kyrie ended the way they did.

I wouldn't want him either, he's 33 and not worth the headache at this point. If we were some ne'er-do-well franchise like the Knicks or Sixers I'd say do it, but we're not. LeBron's turned into an insufferable shitbag ever since rejoining Cleveland. And I say that as someone who defended him vigorously during his Miami years.

I don't see any way he doesn't sign with LA this summer, especially now that they're assured to have the cap space to sign him and another max player free and clear. He and the Lakers are tailor-made for each other at this point. The biggest drama queen and Spike Lee wannabe in the entire league joining the most drama-hungry franchise and obnoxiously far-left media market on the planet. We all know LeBron wants to segue into showbiz when he's done with basketball, what better place than LA to get the ball rolling on that? On the court, he gets to etch his name into the lore of one of the NBA's original-six caliber franchises and have as good a shot at a championship as he would anywhere else in the league, unless he cheesed his way to Golden State.

Celtics are really racking up the bad losses lately. Got blown out at home by Orlando a couple weeks ago, then they respond by dropping the very next game to this year's lame-duck version of the Lakers, they got obliterated in Toronto, and now last night they took the first half off against the Pacers, came back to take the lead (because the Pacers are a lousy team), then threw the game away by playing heroball and kicking out for dumb threes on fast breaks.

Hey I got nothing for you - pretty much sums it up.

Celts are a 50 win team that was scorching hot to begin the season.

They will have their ups and downs. Right now they are playing poorly.

I feel the same way.

Cavs have looked a lot better since the trade. I think that's three wins in a row, including a blowout victory over the Celtics in Boston.

My oh my what a beat down.

Jaylen takes a BAD fall after he dunks and loses his grip on the rim. Who knows how long he'll be out. I'm just happy he can walk after that, thought he broke his neck.

I just came here to mention this. I saw it happen in real time. It was scary as f***. I hope that he will be okay going forward.

Celtics just swept a four game west coast road trip without half their team.

Last night's win was clutch, but the quality of teams they played was pretty low. I'm only impressed with the Blazers game. That was the only game that should've been close, even with the injuries.

What are you talking about? Utah's a playoff team that won 23 of their last 27 going in, and we literally beat them with our B-team. They went the entire road trip without their best player (Irving), best defender (Smart), and backup center (Theis). Two of the games (including last night) we were without Morris, basically the stand-in number one option without Irving, and last night we were without Horford. Yabusele had to start and f***ing Ojeleye played 30 minutes. Edited by Jacoby_Ellsbury

More mounting evidence that Danny has done a f***ing great job putting this team together. Good draft pics, good acquisitions, and the best move of all hiring Stevens.

You can see the effect that Stevens has on each game. Last night was a prime example.

Celts may not win a tittle this year but they are a very interesting team with a bright immediate future.

Nah. This is pretty much nonsense Kid. What they did on this trip was remarkable.

Regardless of if the Celtics were hurt, or who they played, sweeping a 4 game road trip, especially on West coast, is very impressive. That doesn't happen often in NBA.

If the Sixers come back in this series, the officiating in that game 4 will be looked back on as another moment of NBA ref infamy, on par with Lakers/Kings in 2002. That was absolute 100% pure ******** concentrate. First they call two ticky-tack fouls on Tatum in the first five minutes of the game (get the other team's star in foul trouble as early as possible - straight from the Dick Bavetta/corrupt ref playbook that Tim Donaghy went over in his autobiography). That's bad enough, but THEN the second quarter rolls and they rapid-fire pretty much all of our important players into having 3 fouls before the half. We literally can't commit any more fouls or we'll lose our entire team. The Sixers go on a run because it's been established, thanks to the refs, that the Celtics aren't allowed to play defense. Same s*** in the 3rd quarter, but now they call a flurry of technicals on anyone who even looks at them sideways. It was one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen in a sporting event. You cannot be more blatant about fixing a game than that, unless you stood on the scorer's table and announced your intentions to the crowd with a megaphone.

But, of course, like clockwork, those disgusting sewer rat Philly fans who should have all been bulldozed in the womb are tarding it up saying "THERE WAS ONLY A FIVE FOUL DIFFERENCE LOL STOP BEING SALTY". Because they either didn't watch the game at all or only caught whatever glimpses they could while Alshon Jeffrey's ballsack was pounding against their chin. The refs made a bunch of ticky-tack foul calls against the Sixers once the game was locked up, for the sole purpose of evening things out for the box score. There is literally no other reason to stop play as many times as they did in the closing minutes of a decided game. You really think these bottom-feeders would just rig a game and leave the evidence lying around in plain sight?

Yes, I am mad. Thank you for noticing.

P.S. Joel Embiid deserves to have his nose broken into a million pieces.

f***ing excellent post.

The dopes on Comcast were rolling their eyes when they asked Tommy what were the three keys to the game and he said one two three the refs. I did not see the entire game as there was an Annette Benning movie on and I have always want to bang her.

So Tommy was right. From what I did see Philly was holding a lot. There was a ton of contact.

Oh well. The Celts need to destroy these ham and eggers Wednesday.

Embid and The Non-Rookie are both cry baby punks.
