It will either be the greatest NBA finals of all time, or tied for the worst NBA finals of all time, with no in between. (imo of course)

I'd like the LOLs of San Antonio sweeping, but LeBron and co already have two rings so it's moot at this point.

Wouldn't say "likely", it's just some arbitrary rumor. It would be hilarious if it happened though, because ESPN would turn into the official network of the Miami Heat, and the butthurt from other basketball fans would be glorious.

not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7

just 2

and fading...

Trolling aside, LeBron did all that he could. He'll still get blasted by the media, but it should be Bosh and Wade. Wade crying like a little bitch because KD said Harden should replace him in the top 10(and he's right) and he played like s***. Bosh, even though you have to go in with the mentality that you're going to win, should have kept his mouth shut. Don't guarantee a win when the Spurs have been kicking your ass all series. If the Spurs would have made their FTs game 2, it might have been a sweep.

The Spurs took the heat to school this series. They were the far superior team in every aspect. Tim Duncan is probably the most underrated basketball player of all time. He is right there in the conversation of all-time greats. Definitely a top 10 guy in the history of the game.

Sitting on the bench for the last 7 minutes of the game is doing "all that he could."

I'm sorry, but MJ, Bird, Magic and most other all time greats wouldn't have gone out like that.

That's for damn sure.

This is such a stupid argument. So he's supposed to ignore his coach and continue playing? Regardless how long he stayed in the game, the outcome of that game wasn't going to be changed. When a game is out of hand, almost every team in the NBA is gonna take out their star player. Lebron did do all he could do to win that game and in the series he averaged 28 PPG on almost 60% shooting. The Heat lost because his supporting cast did nothing. Where the hell was Wade the last two games?

Would LeBron playing the whole game change the outcome? I thought he played well this series, it's not fault everyone else didn't show up. I see what you're saying, but LeBron deserve zero blame this series.
It would not have made a difference. The Spurs were just beating them into the ground. It was total domination.

I'm not saying it's all on him, bit he clearly didn't do "all he could."

It probably wouldn't have changed s***, but you need to at least try.

It's always good to see the Spurs win the title, even better to beat the Heat, and even better to embarrass the s*** out of them in the process. The Spurs have a deep team and even with Duncan and Ginobili in their late 30's, I believe they have an average age younger than that of the Heat. The Spurs have some young pieces (plus more international talent down the pipelines) and the coaching to put something together even in the inevitable retirement of Duncan and Ginobili. (In the near future)

But yeah, f*** Miami and 99% of their fans.

What did LeBron James do wrong then? He put in all the effort that he could imo. Like a700, it wouldn't matter if he played the last 7 mins, they just destroyed the Heat. Parker started the game 0-10 and they were still winning by like 20, that's insane.

He could have, you know, played the rest of the game. If they were down by 20 with 2 minutes left, pull him. Don't walk off with 7 to go.
