All the Heat starters are good enough defensively to handle the Celtic starters. Outside of that I don't even know what the f*** you're talking about, nor do I care.

 

 

 

I. Don't. Care. Rondo is still Rondo. Garnett, Pierce, and Allen are a year older. Same coach. Hammer on the supporting cast all you want, they're just that... a supporting cast. They mean next to nothing in a playoff matchup, especially when the core players are as outclassed as they are by the Heat. That's not even debatable.

 

And to think, I come to places like talksox for the explicit reason of getting away from the Boston homer ******** that poisons my facebook newsfeed.

 

I'd much rather be a homer than whatever you are, my fav and only teams are the red sox, pats, celtics and bruins..... Sorry if I don't like the best teams from every sport.... I actually don't even give a f*** who you like, but atleast have some damn common sense other than " the heat are better" lame argument....FACT the celtics are 3-1 against the heat this yr...FACT the celtics have a completely different "makeup" about their team this yr FACT the celtics have a better record than the heat SINCE they changed their rotation at the all star break.... So yeah, when you get on here and say stupid s*** like " the heat beat them last yr" or "the heat are a better team" , I call ********.... Give me any facts or numbers that support that the heat are a better team since mid-season.....you say numbers and stats and etc don't matter , but in reality they do

Oh s***, the Celtics went 3-1 against the Heat in the regular season, including a big win against the Heat where Lebron, Wade and Bosh didn't play? lol. The Wizards went 2-1 against the Heat in the regular season. This is the playoffs, regular season doesn't matter AT ALL in a playoff series. The Spurs were the best team in the regular season last year and lost in the 1st round. The Bulls were 3-1 against the Heat last year in regular season, the Heat dominated the Bulls in the playoffs.

 

You can think what you want, but you are not only biased, but you are also stupid if you think the Celtics are better than the Heat lol. I guarantee you Miami reps the eastern conference in the finals this year.

Funny thing is, this whole argument started when someone said " the heats road to the finals just got easier ( when rose went down ) "..... All I replied is that, rose going down clearly made it "easier" for the celtics than the heat, because the celtics match-up better with the heat than the bulls.... And I still stand by the fact that the celtics DO match up better with the heat than the bulls...

 

The ensuing arguments from the "bandwagon fans" made me stick up for MY team... I dont give a s*** if my favorite team was the f***ing bobcats , I would stick by them and argue in their favor?? But in the end, I guess I could make it easier on myself and say my favorite teams are the mavericks, giants, cardinals and bruins...... I find it strange that there's so many heat fans on a red sox forum? Anyways, looks like the heat and celtics WILL get a chance to see who's better.... I'm done talking about it until gm 1...... Well it did get easier for the Heat. Pretty much everyone predicted a Bulls/Miami eastern conference finals, the only reason the Bulls didn't advance was because injuries to Rose, Noah and Deng. The Bulls had the best chance if they stayed healthy to beat Miami, now I don't see any team in the East beating Miami.

 

I don't know if that Heat fan response was directed at me, but I'm not even a Heat fan, I'm a Wizards fan and don't really have any rooting interest in the playoffs, I could care less who won. I am a big Lebron fan and I hope he gets a ring this year to shut the haters up. But I really don't care if the Heat lose, as they aren't my favorite team.

Lebron can't get it done in the playoffs.... Say what you want, but what has he done in the playoffs so far in his career? Cleveland had a great team built around lebron, best record in the NBA 2 yrs in a row.... Played like s*** in the playoffs..... Lebron jumped ship and ran to Miami to play with 2 superstars, what happened in the finals??

 

Don't get me wrong, lebron is great... No doubt... But so far in his career, he just doesn't have it when it matters...

The Bulls are really the only team that had a legit shot at beating the Heat imo. So I think it favors the Heat more than the Celtics.

 

You just said it all in your post?? " legit shot " ?? At beating them.... The whole world knew it was going to be the bulls vs the heat... Not the celtics vs the heat ( which will more than likely happen now ) so please tell me how rose going down doesn't benefit the celtics more? We now have a " shot " at the finals, where as before, idc what you say but we match up way better against the heat than we do against the bulls....

He almost did it by himself but got destroyed by the Spurs. He had to do a lot to get them the best record in the NBA. Did you see that team he had? LeBron has plenty of time left to get a ring. He WILL get one. I don't know if it'll be this year but he definitely will before his career is over. Regular season is totally different than the playoffs btw.

That's true, even if he wins, he'll still get hate, but I just want him to get the ring so people stop using that as an argument. The "winning with great players" argument is stupid too. Every great player who won championships played with other great players.

Because its less competition for them. The Bulls are lot more likely to beat the Heat, then the Celtics or 76ers.

Exactly..... Lebron has been the MVP during the reg season.... Never during the playoffs.... And don't tell me 1 man can't win a championship....exp- Dwayne wade against the mavericks a few yrs ago ( greatest performance I've ever seen in a finals - and I'm a huge Michael Jordan fan )....

 

And if you take lebron off of his Cleveland team and match them up against wades champ team without wade... Cavs win that gm 7/10 times... Wade had a old shaq and that was about it

Too bad Shaq put in work on that 06 Heat team. I'm not saying it's not possible to win a finals without a good supporting cast but how often does that happen? Besides Wade did not win that by himself.

I bet if you take Lebron off the Cavs, they are one of the shittiest teams in the NBA and they set the NBA record for biggest losing streak in NBA history...

Alonzo and Payton averaged 9!!!!! PTs per gm COMBINED in the playoffs?? I retract on shaq, he did avg 18 a gm... Was a yr off on his decline
