There are billions of dollars of marketing behind those iconic names! no one ever marketed the name 40 Man roster

I think we signed a pitcher named Berrios to a minor league deal

Seems like when I said we should trade Duran to the royals for prospects, I lot of people said we have arrived and do not need anymore prospects. I am glad bres-slow still values prospects

For a utility infielder Braiden ward

    Hoppe traded for a catcher.

Didn’t Wong play some first base for us previous to 2025 ???

    An internal hire then?

Could a team be interested in Hamilton as part of a trade package?

I am sure these teams will watch film on Sandlin. If you watch film from the first have of 2025, Sandlin looks great. if you look at film of Sandlin from the back half of the year, Sandlin is a train wreck! how can any team justify keeping Sandlin on their roster for all of 2026?

Didn’t we spend a chunk of the money extending Anthony
  11. Larry Cook
That is what I meant. Gonzales is included in the trade package?

Do you really think Bres-slow can get a top of a rotation trade with Duran? Why wouldn’t another team be more focused on all our young, but major league ready pitching???

I watched arias a lot at Greenville. His glove is much more advanced than his bat! think rafeala clone in the field and at the plate, with more walks

We absolutely do not need to trade any of our outfielders! But I will admit, finding someone to trade yoshida to (as impossible as that sounds) would definitely make it easier to keep the 4 outfielders we have now!!!

I tried to trade Duran to Seattle for Bryce miller last offseason! Got a lot of pushback for it.
  16. Larry Cook
Why?? We could have had him last year and we passed on him. What makes him better this year???

Not all prospects have the same timeline. They grow learn and mature as hitters at different speeds. Campbell never had to overcome adversity or have to learn to make adjustments in the minor leagues. even Anthony faced adversity in Portland and learned to adjust to how they were pitching him.

    A left handed hitting outfielder???
  19. Larry Cook
Looks like naylor is staying with the mariners for 5 year.

Baseball is a game of adjustments! After a month, pitchers made an adjustment to how they pitched Campbell and Campbell never made the a correcting adjustment. And add in the problems he had defensively, and you can see why his confidence was shattered

If giolita’s shoulder checks out fine Add in these 2 trades: 1.) Duran to Philly for bohm and painter. 2.) Fitts, cutter, Campbell and Sandlin for Ryan
  22. Larry Cook
The more important question is many did we feel showed enough in the minor leagues to prove they were ready???
  23. Larry Cook
Yes! I think an extension would be possible with them.
  24. Larry Cook
Because the leap from triple A to the major leagues is the absolute most steep leap in baseball

The Mets were totally prepared to let Alonso walk last year and apparently very few teams were willing to step up and take him then,
