    I think that as far as priorities for us this offseason, assuming Bregman opts out, are as follows: 1.) ace type number 2 pitcher for the rotation. 2.) left side of the infield help. 3.) increase bullpen depth. 4.) power bat. for priority number 1: a.) call Pittsburgh and see if there is any interest in trading skenes! Offering Duran and abreau and prospects is a start. b.) if Detroit is going to make Skubal available, we need to call them and go all in on trading for him.

    Seems to me if Mayer succeeds, the Red Sox share in that success as well

    If we want to put Mayer in the best possible position to succeed in 2026, seems like 3b or 2B makes the most sense.

    When Bregman leaves, Mayer is going to be our everyday 3rd baseman for 2026! I would like to see story move to 2nd base in 2026! (And if I am being honest, I hope story opts out too!) the question is are there any free agent or trades available for a quality short stop ( not named rafeala) who can play defense and not strike out excessively!!!

    Can free agent pitcher king stay healthy? He has tremendous stuff when he is healthy!!!

    I really cannot see any of the free agents being resigned. Matz does not have the strike out stuff bres-slow craves. May was a bust. Wilson was serviceable but we have a ton of power lefties that can replace him in the pen. refsynder hit lefties ok, but we have a logjam of outfielders and Campbell is probably only useful defensively in the outfield

    2025 was a huge step in the right direction. Plus we are set up to have more success in 2026. Duran seemed to play better offensively when Anthony was leading off. If Duran stays next season, he needs to stay out of the lead off spot. the first month of the 2025 season was really hard, a lot of guys were struggling and the Devers stories were nonstop. Hopefully we start 2026 with no drama 2025 was the year of the rookie and hopefully 2026 sees those rookies stay healthy and take the next step toward greatness. I still think Mayer can be a beast offensively

    I think bres-slow has proven to be a solid talent evaluator! Yes he did take a gamble on some signings, but most were really good signings.

    The number and quality of the prospects we have graduated in the last three years is amazing. I think our team is primed for some amazing development next season.

    Crochet, giolita and bello is the rotation in the playoffs. Chapman, Whitlock, Wilson, weissert, slaten matz are probably locks for playoff bullpen. who gets the remaining open bullpen spots?

    Anderson started the year great. Looked confident at the plate. Swung at quality pitches and seemed to pick up the spin on the ball. after he got promoted, he expanded his strike zone, lost his confidence and looked completely lost at the plate,

    Potential 2026 starting rotation at Worcester of Criswell, dobbins, Fitts, Tolle and Harrison!! Wow!!

    I think Harrison should start next season in Worcester and he should tighten up the secondary stuff
