    I could see 1 big bat fire sure! We get a full year of Anthony and Mayer! Not sure if Casas ever comes back! I think we win with pitching defense and timely hitting! but none of that matters if we have tons of Injuries

    The thing that surprised me the most about Mayer was that his arm was not as strong as I thought! maybe it had something to do with the wrist injury though!

    Can Atlanta afford to wait until July to trade sale?? Seems like sale’s highest trade return value is now! He might be injured by July

    Whatever we give up for sale, it will have to be an overpay, but fitts and a Choice of Mullins or Sandlin or Rogers, is not going to ruin our future but will help 2026 a ton

    If we keep yoshida, then we may have to move an outfielder! if we jettison yoshida, then we can keep our 4 current outfielders and everybody still gets enough at bats

    I would take bohm and painter for Duran in a heartbeat! but if desperate Dave will not play ball, then signing Kim and putting him at short, Mayer and 3rd and story at 2nd makes our infield defense better in 2026! I also have no problem trading Duran to kc for 2 or 3 quality prospects as long as 1 of those prospects is David shields

    All the more reason to trade for sale: 1.) sale will cost less in prospects and budgeted dollars. 2.) sale’s stuff is as good as skubal. 3.) the kids should be ready to replace sale by year end or when sale gets injured again.

    Williams is a 4 seamer guy and I think Bailey does not let like for guys to throw that many 4 seam fastballs.

    Sale broke a rib diving for a pop up against Philly I think! Sale’s stuff is amazing. We have 3 or 4 high quality kids knocking on the door! seems like the perfect bridge pitcher for us

    I would hope a guy as smart as bres-slow would have a strategic vision for improving the team and specifically the rotation and defense

    Hypothetically, if some team calls us asking for Duran, is bres-slow going to trade Duran for 2 mediocre prospects? human nature. Ask for the world, but know what you are willing to settle for or walk away from

    I agree 100 percent. Last offseason was the high water mark for Duran! I do not believe Garcia is ready to play in Boston to start next season, an outfield of Anthony, rafeala, abreau, Campbell and Duran works if yoshida is not on the roster
