    Why not just keep pedroia on the dl for the rest of his contract. We got a good thing going and he has a history of being a turd in the punch bowl.

    Sadly houck is struggling with control thus far this young season and he is a college pitcher from the best conference in college baseball - the sec.

    Dalbec with another tater tonight. He may be hitting well under 200, but he does have 4 taters thus far this season!

    I firmly believe that our pitchers attacking opposing hitters more aggressively with Bradley patrolling center fielder, just because they are 100 percent confident that he has their back.

    There is no doubt in my mind that Hanley played through a painful shoulder injury last season. His stats or lack thereof were a direct of that injury. What we are seeing now is Hanley playing above his head, snd he will cool down at some point. But unless he gets hurt, it is very difficult to not see him getting 500 at bats this year.

    I think Nunez will be lucky to last the season. The knee is clearly bothering him and by June, it should be swelled up and causing him discomfort. Pedroia is only good for 80 to 90 games a season before he breaks down. Add in that he fractured the locker room last year and provides no veteran leadership and you could have a team chemistry problem once he returns. I really like Lin’s swing and plan of attack at the plate. I think he becomes a huge utility player for us this year.

    He really had the sinker working tonight, and played the four seamer off it very nicely. When he is right, he can be very tough to hit against.

    I believe ball has major league stuff! The problem is command and control. He neither commands or controls the strike zone. As long as he is giving up a walk or more per two innings pitched, he is going to be a work in progress. If he learns command and control, he will be a monster for us because his stuff is so good.
