Mental toughness - some people have it and some people wish they had it.
-
Chatham with his 3rd tater tonight. Thompson pitched six scoreless innings tonight.
-
Injuries are a part of the game. That is why you build for depth.
-
A tale of two sox! The Yankees really needed this game tonight!
-
Why do we have such a difficult time hitting this guy. His stuff is ordinary!
-
If ockimey can get his contact rate up, he would have a future on our team.
-
Eovaldi has been amazing, I never knew he could command pitches like he has these last two starts.
-
Kimbrel self destructing.
-
I would love for us to sign Britton. Love the movement he generates. Really tough to time it out when he is dealing.
-
Several players on both teams appearred to be cramping a bit.
-
Porcello was dealing tonight, that is a once in a career game. He was magnificent,
-
Ockimey with his first triple a tater today. Shawaryn ran into some trouble the second time through the lineup. Ended up giving up 4 runs in 6.1 innings.
-
I do not think our offense has been struggling post all star game, but we have run into some good pitching. Health over the next two months is key for us finishing strong.
-
Shawaryn and ockimey promoted to Pawtucket. Dalbec promoted to Portland. Tendler with his 11th tater today.
-
Since Thornburg changed his delivery, his ball is now moving through the strike zone. He is starting to remind me of the guy I thought we were trading for.
-
Dalbec with his 26th tater today. Still carrying the 32% strike out rate though,
-
Hewlett with his third tater today as well as four hits. He is a monster in the gcl.
-
Ockimey with his 14th tater today. Shawaryn had a mediocre outing today.
-
The sad thing is the ray’s pitching coaches will develop him into something decent because they know how to develop pitchers and all our pitching coaches know how to do is turn starters into relievers because they can’t throw a change up, but could probably excel with a slider or cutter as a third pitch.
-
Bradley putting together some good at bats today against the twinkies.
-
Houck went six innings and gave up 1 run on three hits and a walk. 4 k’s. Not a bad outing.
-
Rumor has it that desperate dave is trying to finalize a deal for the Texas closer. Of course Texas is probably wondering what is worth trading for from the dumpster fire we call a farm system. The only way this makes sense is if the Texas closer has a history of arm troubles, Desperate dave can gobble up sore armed relievers faster than most Yankees fan can post bail.
-
Dalbec with his 25th tater of the year today!
-
Can it be a coincidence that Happ and Britton are both lefties and we struggle with lefties. Don’t we have 13 games left this year against New York? The lefties could do some damage to us.

Hope is never a good strategy!
