Why can’t we hit that stiff Tanaka. He throws average stuff. Yet we lock up and let this clown own us.

Can price be effective with his cutter/splitter? If he is, we have a chance to put another win on the board.

Talk about hanging on for a tough win! But any win is a good win. Bullpen scares me. Our hitters need to be able to score against the yankee bullpen.

I am extremely worried about any left handed pitching that we face in the playoffs. We seem to struggle against the good lefties. As for our pitching, I thought sale’s mix of pitches in his last start was curious. He seemed to be working on the cutter/splitter and people mistook it for fastballs. Which explains the velocity decrease. Very interested to see if the velocity returns. Because if it does not and that cutter/splitter was his fastball, then he could have shoulder damage.

A lot of loud at bats against cuevas, Poyner, Hembree, Workman, pomeranz, and Kelly. I still think Larussa is the man behind the curtain leading Cora like a puppet master. And I am thinking larussa keeps Hembree and Kelly on the post season roster. The others go packing.

Or the rest throws his timing out of whack and he becomes an automatic out!

Who else besides us is going to need a closer for next season?

If we fall short of the World Series does that mean this season was a failure? I expect every team we face to pitch around Mookie. Benintendi and Bradley need to step up to take this option off the table.

Are we going to platoon Pearce and Moreland at first base?

What can be a bigger need than starting pitching?

We give Kimbrel the qualifying offer and let Theo sign him. Instead we sign Herrera and Ottavino. Pomeranz gets signed by the Yankees and Kelly learns to speak Japanese. Take some of our savings and extend bogey. Perfect offseason!

Will the Yankees beat Oakland? If severino is not perfect, Oakland could put up some crooked numbers on him!

Give Kimbrel a qualifying offer and let the chips fall where they may. Let the Yankees sign pomeranz and let joe Kelly learn to speak Japanese next season.

We are really good at beating up bad and mediocre teams. Two weeks, we get our chance against real teams.

The fight in this team is amazing! Really hoping the Yankees sign pomeranz this off season!

Our pitching has run out of gas a dozen games short of the playoffs! Ouch!

Can we really bring back Nunez, the one legged wonder next season. I would feel much better with better utility infielder than Nunez next season, Nunez is an injury waiting to happen,

Wow! Nice game today. We survived a pomeranz and Kelly meltdown,

The best teams build their teams through the minor league system and use free agent signings and trade to fill in need areas, Since we are incapable of developing starting pitching, we have a ton of holes to fill. Hence the decimation of our minor league system and the most expensive payroll in the game,

If the season were 4 months long, he would be the greatest pitcher on the planet. But his body is struggling to last 200 innings per season.

I agree with what you said earlier. We give Kimbrel a qo and if he stays a year, great. The kid from tcu we drafted will be ready for 2020. If he leaves, we sign Herrera and hope he has one good year in him.
  22. Larry Cook
That was pitiful. We just played dead!
  23. Larry Cook
Why is Kelly allowed to pitch in high leverage situations?
  24. Larry Cook
My biggest disappointment this year is we did not sweep the Yankees!
  25. Larry Cook
Wow! Games like that come around once in a blue moon. That was a fun, stressful and exciting 9th inning!
