  1. I watched arias a lot at Greenville. His glove is much more advanced than his bat! think rafeala clone in the field and at the plate, with more walks
  2. We absolutely do not need to trade any of our outfielders! But I will admit, finding someone to trade yoshida to (as impossible as that sounds) would definitely make it easier to keep the 4 outfielders we have now!!!
  3. I tried to trade Duran to Seattle for Bryce miller last offseason! Got a lot of pushback for it.
  4. Why?? We could have had him last year and we passed on him. What makes him better this year???
  5. Not all prospects have the same timeline. They grow learn and mature as hitters at different speeds. Campbell never had to overcome adversity or have to learn to make adjustments in the minor leagues. even Anthony faced adversity in Portland and learned to adjust to how they were pitching him.
  6. A left handed hitting outfielder???
  7. Looks like naylor is staying with the mariners for 5 year.
  8. Baseball is a game of adjustments! After a month, pitchers made an adjustment to how they pitched Campbell and Campbell never made the a correcting adjustment. And add in the problems he had defensively, and you can see why his confidence was shattered
  9. If giolita’s shoulder checks out fine Add in these 2 trades: 1.) Duran to Philly for bohm and painter. 2.) Fitts, cutter, Campbell and Sandlin for Ryan
  10. The more important question is many did we feel showed enough in the minor leagues to prove they were ready???
  11. Because the leap from triple A to the major leagues is the absolute most steep leap in baseball
  12. The Mets were totally prepared to let Alonso walk last year and apparently very few teams were willing to step up and take him then,
  13. I hope bres-slow can bring us a true #2 starter
  14. If bres-slow decides to pass on acquiring Ryan, who else could possibly be worth acquiring for the number 2 spot in the rotation?
  15. I do think bohm would have to show us something before we talk about extending him
  16. Hindsight is 20/20, but watching Campbell hit in spring training and I think most of us thought he was headed back to Worcester. and while I am a fan of challenging prospects with aggressive promotions, I believe the prospects have to show they are ready.
  17. Isn’t Keller a 4th or 5th starter at this point
  18. Are either of the twins starting pitchers an upgrade over Duran?
  19. I honestly do not know! And I realize numbers do not lie. his numbers say he is as good as crochet! But when I watch him pitch, I have flashbacks to springs type stuff
  20. In early 2025, bres-slow rushed Campbell to the majors and really damaged Campbell in the process. in late 2025, bres-slow rushed early and Tolle to the majors. Are they also damaged now as well???
  21. Seems like in his quest fit higher velocity, he has sacrificed movement on his pitches
  22. The national media is continuing to pound the skubal trade stories. They continue to list us as 1 of 4 teams with a chance to get skubal
  23. Last time I checked, I think we are short on catching in our minor league system! and, I saw shields pitch. Love the stuff! He could be special in our system
