  1. There are a lot of tears shed in New York and Tampa. No doubt, the hitters there were hoping we would activate him and they could fatten their stats!
  2. Nice win today. Eovaldi looked good. Verdugo, devers and bogey are keepers! Dalbec and Martinez looked weak.
  3. I have been asking that all season. His swing looks slow and he is not picking up the spin of the ball. Once a hitter loses his bat speed, it is all down hill from there,
  4. Houck got a few lefties out as well. Good win!
  5. Why does Roenicke keep sending Martinez out there to end rallies!
  6. Any and all broke down rehabbing pitchers should be calling hang’em Chaim night and day.
  7. Very impressed with houck tonight. His slider had bite and his fastball had some movement! I think bringing him for a few starts this year was a good move.
  8. At least Atlanta was smart enough to sign him to a minor league deal.
  9. Houck is starting to look a little gassed!
  10. This is so true! And yes Hanley was also all on Larry as well. Maybe one day we will learn just how much Larry interfered with cherrington, but most likely that day is not anytime soon! And yes, these two bad Larry deals did screw the pooch for desperate Dave a little bit when desperate Dave was starting!
  11. They used to say “you can shake any tree and good gloves will drop out, but rarely does one ever finds the tree with good bats.” Dalbec is looking more and more like the next Sam horn!
  12. I agree, I think hang’em Chaim will operate one the second tier for his one semi big signing. Then it is back to the “potential upside guys” for the next 5 signings. And then the final 5 signings will be bargain basement “wal Mart specials”. Ps: Cherrington hit gold on the “upside guys” signings his first year. If hang’em Chaim goes 5 for 5 like cherrington did, we could have a better than expected 2021!
  13. It would be very nice if Martinez opts out!
  14. Hang’em Chaim has to sign a second baseman to provide competition,
  15. Arroyo with a two run jack to bail out Dalbec!
  16. Any big signing - probably not. But some key medium signings, especially involving pitchers, could help make us a potential playoff threat,
  17. The trick for hang’em Chaim is to get us somewhat competitive next year while building a sustainable minor league system that can allow us to be playoff worthy every year. Take an annually competitive team and add an occasional top tier free agent signing and suddenly we have sustainable formula to be world series threats year after year,
  18. Dalbec killing us today. 2k’s, 4 lob and and error! Why would Roenicke give a hot batter a day off?
  19. Did you actually watch Sam play?
  20. A fire hydrant is more capable defensively!
  21. I really think hang’em Chaim continues to sign tons of cheap pitchers this offseason. But this offseason, he also adds a couple of quality arms for the bullpen. I would like to see him bring pillar back after Bradley leaves.
  22. Why don’t we shut down Martinez, he is an embarrassment! Hang’em Chaim has to figure out how to move him somewhere in the offseason!
  23. Is Dalbec the next Sam horn? Based on the wind generated by most of their swings, we could be seeing Sam horn part 2.
  24. Or price and Betts for may and verdugo!
