I find it strangely coincidental that the Sox are trotting out a bunch of new Unknown pitchers and the Taco Bell down the road from Fenway is closed due to lack of employees to cook the fake meat!
I have no idea what instructions ownership gave hang’em Chaim, but I think he is following their directives. As such, this offseason is really important for gang.’em Chaim and the team.
I see the to do list as follows:
1.) We need a new manager. I would like to see us bring Cora back.
2.) starting pitching. We need at least 2.
3.) relief pitching. A half dozen would be nice.
4.) let Bradley leave, sign a replacement.
With these adjustments, I think we can at least be semi competitive next season.
I wish we had some idea into the thinking that Roenicke does that goes into the pitching rotation and lineup configurations.
I am absolutely convinced that Roenicke is so far out there that he can not see the shoreline anymore!
Stock may not know where his pitches are going when the ball leaves his hands, but if he figures out command and control, he could be a major league pitcher!
Hang’em Chaim did not move as much dead weight as I would have liked, but he smartly hung onto homegrown players. Sends the right message to the locker room and the minors.
Thanks, I saw him pitch several times and was extremely impressed with his stuff. I did not realize he was shut down due to the elbow.
that is terrible because he has fantastic stuff.
I am not a fan of leiter’s kid. We need to go all out for rocker!
If pillar or Bradley is traded, we call up Duran!
If Barnes is traded, we call him houck?
If Perez is traded, we call up pevitta?
If Martinez is traded, not sure we have anybody left to call up!
If peraza is traded, we celebrate!
