  1. Could not agree more with your ixnay list! If we do chase down a pitcher named gray, it needs to be the guy stuck in Colorado! What could he be if he ever got out of there?
  2. Is there a signing on the horizon? New York radio says kluber is choosing between us, yanks and Mets. I know the Mets can throw a ton of money at kluber.
  3. So how many bad contracts do we have left? Martinez and Pedroia?
  4. I don’t think so. Late 2023 would be more realistic.
  5. I think the only “get” that the dodgers got on us, was making us keep half of price’s salary. Other than that, I think the trade was a win for us and sped up the recovery process by a year or more.
  6. Only time will tell!
  7. But hey, at least they took price off our hands and allowed us to get the reset!
  8. Why does it have to be one or the other?
  9. Definitely not deliberate, for some reason the stupid I phone brings it up like that. Bloom’s role on the Sox reminds me of Eastwood’s role in hang’em high.
  10. Arihara to be posted. Does hang’em chiam have any interest in signing him?
  11. Do the Sox have a ceremony for him at Fenway, post COVID-19?
  12. Musgrove has some decent analytics. He is a guy that could thrive in our organization.
  13. Juvenile or 100 percent accurate! At the end of the day, desperate Dave drove 3 different organizations off a cliff with his all or nothing short term plan with execution and to date, none of them have really ever recovered. Ps: Miami looks to be about to exit the desperate Dave cloud and get back to respectability with some semblance of sustainability.
  14. Until this year, lefties battered houck. Not sure what he did to fix that, but he is still mainly a two pitch pitcher. I still think he might be better suited to be a dominant closer. Feltman and mata both have unbelievable stuff, but substandard control, improvement in command and control could get them to the majors in late 2021 or more likely 2022!
  15. And how many teams are beating down desperate Dave’s door since we let him go? How many other teams laughed at Henry, when he beat absolutely no other competitor to hire desperate Dave after Detroit wisely let him go!
  16. Any major league calibre pitching help is good pitching help! We are beyond desperate!
  17. I thought houck was our closer of the future from the minute he was drafted. Hernandez-Feldman-houck! I thought this would be the best 7th-9th inning shut down trio in baseball by 2022!
  18. Do Seattle fans still get sick thinking about that trade!
  19. At some point, we have to figure out if we want an offensive juggernaut or a team that can play some defense. Bogey and devers are substandard defenders. Second base is a black hole for defense and offense. First base - who knows? How can we ask pitchers to generate ground balls, when our infield defense is pathetic.
  20. Usually year two after Tommy John is where they really take off.
  21. A quick trip to Louisiana and you will see all that and more.
  22. Then why did he allow houck to pitch a few starts in 2020?
  23. Would the astros be interested in replacing springer with Bradley?
  24. Didn’t Cora play with Brantley?
