I am pleasantly surprised by how well Hang’em Chaim is doing. Year 1 - Covid, injuries, minor leagues got a bit of a talent influx and most important a spending reset. Year 2 - more influx of talent in the minor leagues and two games from the World Series. Yes, for year 3 we need more bullpen help, a right fielder and another utility infielder, but I like what he did before the lockout and I expect to see 3-4 prospects contribute this year in Boston. Let’s see what he does over the next four weeks or so.

Isn’t that what hang’em Chaim is trying to do for us? He just had to finish choking on desperate Dave’s bad deals and finish restocking the minors after desperate Dave turned our minor league system into a dumpster fire.

Does having a bunch of mediocre talent keep us from giving our youngsters a chance to show what they can do in Boston?

I am very encouraged by what hang’em Chaim has achieved this off season. We got some starters, which will push some fringe starters into full time bullpen pitchers, We added some defense and increased the prospect pool. We are a closer away from having a completed offseason.

Bradley saw a huge spike in strike outs last year. If these come back close to normal, we would have a .230 hitter that plays great defense. Plus two decent prospects!

Hang’em Chaim is signing guys on short years as he waits for the minor league team to start cranking out guys yearly.

If hang’em Chaim and crew can fix this guys mechanics, we may have something.

Is foltentiwisz still out there? He reminds me of pivetta, in that he has issues with his mechanics that need sorting. Hang’em Chaim seems to be good at figuring out how to get pitchers fixed.

Over the mountains article on a potential trade between us and the Marlins due to our plethora of hitters in the pipeline and the Marlins plethora of arms in the pipeline, made me think maybe we should be stealing the Marlins minor league pitching coaches, since ours can not develop arms!
