    people on this board were asking for Carson Kelly -well he got 11.5 million for 2 years--FAR TOO RICH FOR JOHN HENRY.. The ONLY reason we got Crochet was the 3 million he'll get this year and probably not a huge bump in arbitration [around 6 million?} for 2026. Then he will leave as a FA.

    i like that we got Crochet who is only 25 and fits in our window but I think we FAR overpaid. Hopefully we can extend him because if he turns out to be a 2 year rental it will cost Bres-slow his job

    that is not going to happen. Casas is under control for 4 more seasons and Devers will whne if he is bumped off 3B. I don't trade any of our top 4 prospects for Crochet either. Sign Burnes as he is the only good SP left on the FA market.
