    there is a BIG difference in Sale & Price and the rehab losers they spend tens of millions on every year -Sale & Price were established TOTR pitchers and they were HEALTHY when they were signed. Hendricks, Paxton, Sandoval, etc. were INJURED and needed months if not years to get healthy. we knew they'd contribute little if any. just a stupid f***ing way to run a team.

    i don't think the ETA's listed are realistic. it says '28 but that is late 28 at best. that's why i said early '29 or even '30, if there is any regression or injury.

    i know you're not asking me, but i do know quite a bit about the Mariners farm system. both of them are currently in High A, but i think both will definitely start in AA next season. i think Celesten may even move to AA in the next month or so. with that in mind, i think '29 is the best for either, with '30 more likely. my two cents.

    i like him and hope he's not traded. i like guys that hustle and bust their ass and play with passion -guys that get pissed off, dive head first and get into arguments. it means they care -sort of the opposite of Marshmello Mayer.

    oh, i have no doubt he'll regress to the mean, but i really like the way he plays.

    when Durbin has become our de facto power hitter, something is very, very wrong with the roster construction --i'm looking at you Breslow. with that said, Durbin is growing on me, primarily due to his attitude and hustle. if any of these other bums had a pinky injury like Caleb, they'd be out for the season. not Durbin, he's says "f*** it, i'm playing and hitting home runs and busting my ass trying to win". we need a LOT more of that on the roster.
