    only the Reds and lowly White Sox have scored fewer runs than the Sox. some time over the winter, i suggested this team might set the bar for the lowest number of runs scored in a season. and IIRC, i was mocked and scolded for such a suggestion. well....here we are 13 games into the season and even though it's still early, they are on pace to score a whopping 573 runs, which would be, a new all time low. congratulations Craig, you f***ing stiff.

    it's been that way ever since Cora became manager. except for 2022, the Sox have committed the most or second most errors in the league. the players change, but s***** fielding and s***** coaching continue year after year.

    it's not a mixed bag. the "good" deals you mention, other than Crochet, Narvaez and Priester are all "meh" deals. the bad deals are mostly REALLY REALLY bad. actually, they're f***ing horrendous.
