Dick Allen was honored yesterday, in North Little Rock. It was a nice ceremony with his number being retired and his son in attendance. It's nice to see these guys start getting the recognition they deserve. i've been arguing for extending him for months now, but yeah....they'll sign some rehabbing has-been/never-was on some ridiculous pillow contract in hopes he might regain something instead of spending real money for a quality pitcher. it's this idiotic mindset that has tanked this franchise since DD was fired.

"doesn't have a long track record".....so, yeah, lets trade a starting pitcher for his guy. another trade that's gonna bite Brez in the ass. -
part of what makes the trade for AR so stupid. they miss half a season due to the lock out, he gets healthy just in time for free agency. so....we end up trading half the gotdamn farm for a half a season of an injured catcher.

the Mariners have lost the last 8 games Miller has started. he has been awful. so....he'll probably throw a complete game 2 hit shutout tonite.

that game was as close to a forfeit as they come, without actually forfeiting. too bad Crochet is such a loser he can't keep himself healthy enough to pitch, so they wouldn't have to trot out a batting practice pitcher to embarrass himself.

Duran has more rbi's 9th inning or later than anyone in the league, so yeah....lets pinch hit White for him. Tracy definitely effed that one up.

same here. i have friends that jump from one app to another trying to keep up with the latest greatest whatever, but never staying long at any of them. i like someplace i can go, sit down, prop up my feet, have a drink and talk about the Boston Red Sox.
